Apple looks to patent wireless purchasing

A fresh patent filed back in 2006, but only revealed recently shows that Apple is looking to delve further into wireless purchasing via the iPhone and iPod Touch devices. The patent titled "Wireless communication system" would allow customers to wirelessly order products as they are approaching a store. The customer could then pop into the store, possibly avoiding the depression of waiting in lines, and pop right out with their items in hand. A service like this could work wonders in a restaurant. Just order and pay from your device and then consume. What could possibly be more geared towards the American market?
