iPhone for NTT DoCoMo in Japan?

With Apple already signed on with US and European network providers for the iPhone, reports are coming in that the company is in talks with NTT DoCoMo for an entry into the Japanese mobile market. Jobs has also been in contact with Softbank, one of DoCoMo's competing companies in the Japanese market. If Softbank could snatch up rights over the iPhone, DoCoMo could have some problems on their hands. DoCoMo is currently the dominating provider of Japan, with Softbank ranking in 3rd place.
