Samsung SGH-J758 in China
Samsung aims to penetrate the China market with its SGH-J758 handset, bringing a 3G-capable cellphone with standard features such as an MP3 player, a digital camera (unknown megapixel count), a microSD memory card slot, security tracing and sound recording capability. The Samsung SGH-J758 measures 99mm x 48mm x 17.8mm and weighs 79 grams. It will be black in color, but you can also choose from silver, blue, red and pink if black's not your style.

Motorola has been ready to pounce at the chance at taking stock for 50% of Sony Ericsson's UIQ mobile OS. The last hurdle for Motorola to jump in order to recieve half control over the Sony Ericsson’s UI Holdings BV (UIQ's parent company) was approval from the European Union. The EU has given Motorola the go ahead, citing no anti-trust disputes to speak of. This could mean many more phones with the Sony OS installed in 2008.

Sprint and Myspace announced today that Sprint will be the first US carrier to link directly to Myspace Mobile from the interface of the cellphones. Beginning in early 2008, Sprint phones will ship with a Myspace Mobile link which will bring users to a new full-Myspace experience made for mobile devices. The Myspace Mobile site is open for beta use now. Accessing the Myspace link from Sprint won't cost you anything extra, but it seems like a good way to sell data plans.
