Asus P527 improves on P525 Asus will be releasing its P527 smartphone in the South East Asian region, bringing some marked improvement over its predecessor, the P525 - especially with the inclusion of GPS navigation courtesy of an integrated SiRFStar III GPS chipset. In addition, you get a wide range of connectivity features such as WiFi and Bluetooth - pity it doesn't do 3G in any form though. This Windows Mobile-powered smartphone also comes with a 2 megapixel autofocus camera, a microSD memory card slot that supports microSDHC as well and a 2.6" QVGA display, all packed into a handset that measures 15.4mm thick while weighing 125 grams. It will first arrive in Hong Kong and Taiwan at the end of November, followed by Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, India and Turkey.
