Sony-Ericsson intros K660i, W380, W890i

After much speculation, rumors were confirmed when Sony-Ericsson introduced three new media-packed devices; the K660i, the W380, and the W890 handsets. The

W890i is the follow-up to the popular W880 model, and is the first W800 model to natively support HSPA 3G network access. The ultra-thin (0.39 inches) bar style phone also comes equipped with a 2GB Memory Stick Micro card straight out of the box, offering the most extrenal memory for any Sony-Ericsson device, as well as an improved keypad layout.

The K660i focuses on easy web-browsing, with a display that automatically adjusts to landscape position when turned on its side (we've been seeing a lot of this recently), while also featureing a 2MP camera and coming stocked with Google Maps software and HSPA access.

The W380 is a low-end budget clamshell Walkman phone, featuring a unorthodox squred-off design, rather than the usual rounded edges , semi-hidden external media controls, a1.3-megapixel camera and 512MB of Memory Stick Micro storage, also supporting quad-band GSM. All three phones can be expected to see a release in early 2008.
