Sidekick Slide available through T-Mobile

There was a time when the only kid on the block was the Sidekick LX, though T-Mobile now has another bully in town. The Sidekick Slide is now available on T-Mobile's website and at their retail stores for $199 with a two-year contract. The Motorola designed Slide doesn't quite beat out the old Sharp-sourced LX spec wise, though maintains a much more streamline design, not to mention a much lower price tag.

The pricing is attractive for many younger mobile customers. Not to mention owning the newest Sidekick to T-Mobile might make you the coolest kid in school. I think I had one of those clunky black Motorola start-up phones. Lucky them.
