Verizon Wireless has officially announced the launch of their first CDMA-enabled phone, the Blackberry Pearl. The Pearl offers dual-band EVDO (800/1900 MHz) connectivity and allows integration with up to 10 e-mail accounts. The phone will feature a 2 MP camera and a 240x260 pixel display. It will also offer 220 minutes of talk time and 216 hours standby time. The new Blackberry Pearl will be available for purchase on November 8th for $299 with a two-year contract. For us it seems this price is a little too expensive for what this phone has to offer.
