UK iPhone running v1.1.2 gives us a heads up

While we don't know how this iPhone user managed to get v1.1.2 of the iPhone firmware on their device, we're happy to have some new details about what the upgrade will offer. First things first, the new upgrade seems to make the new jailbreakme.com jailbreak method invalid, which is not so much as a surprise as it is a let down. Aside from a patched security hole that allowed iPhone hackers to access to the phones TIFF directory other upgrades include access to "The Cloud WiFi" spots and additional multi-language support. Though, we'd like to add that before you go and upgrade your phone when the new firmware is released (most likely around November 9th when the UK version is launched), think about the fact that jailbreakme.com fixes the TIFF security hole for you as well, but also allows third-party apps to stay on your phone. In my opinion, I'm happy with my phone as it is.
