Amex Digital has announced the launch of their G-Plus model of phone. The device features a 2.4" QVGA LCD screen that supports 3D graphics and display features. The G-Plus also comes with a full GPS feature, offering GPS Viewer software, a photo GPS systed, an e-map browser with a GPS indicator LED, and 5-way navigational keys. The tri-band (900/1800/1900MHz) GSM phone with its GPRS function, offers up to 200 hours of standby time and 2.5 hours of talk time. The focus of this phone seems to be GPS oriented, since the media offerings are pretty scant, featuring a 1.3 MP camera with flash LED and video recording at a lower than current standard 30 fps.
