Samsung AMOLED display prototypes
Story posted on: October 18, 2007. Filed in: samsung.

Japan is at the forefront of mobile technology yet again with Samsung announcing its intention to mass produce AMOLED display-equipped phones for the KDDI network there. A quartet of Samsung AMOLED KDDI models has been scheduled for manufacturing, but very litlle (none in fact) has been released where specifications and capabilities are concerned. The prototypes do look interesting though, and hopefully AMOLED display technology will make its way across the Pacific sooner rather than later.

My concern is the life span of these OLED screens. Would you be able to play games and watch videos considerably? My other concern is about its durability. How delicate are they considerind that you carry you mobile in your pockets or in a bag?
