S60 to get new features
Story posted on: October 26, 2007. Filed in: nokia.

The S60 operating system is evolving, with word of the S60 Touch UI being in the works. While others might accuse it of being an iPhone clone, S60 Touch UI is different as it carries two features that you cannot find on Apple's offering - stylus input and tactile feedback response. The R&D team is also developing an application that can translate foreign words in pictures snapped using the phone's camera, while another identifies objects simply by pointing your camera at them. Pretty cool, no?

Good solid compitition from a market leader, gope they give the iphone atleast a jog for their money. I live in south africa and hate the delay of gadget release here, we are only getting the i phone here in march 08.
