Sony-Ericsson T850i concept

Along with the sneak peek we had of the W890i, here is a concept design for the T850i, designed by a Sony-Ericsson fanatic (spotted on Esato). The T850i concept phone would be 3G-enabled and offer GPS support, a 5MP camera with a Xenon flash, and the ability to record videos at 30 fps. The specs of this device aren't overly ambitious, meaning that a similar device could technically be built in the near future. I wonder how fast the xenon flash would deplete a battery…



AT&T has released the first HSUPA laptop card. Staring today, AT&T will be enabling HSUPA service on their 3G network. HSUPA increases upload speeds of the HSDPA network considerably, reaching speeds of 500-800 kbps, though download speed will not change. The Sierra Wireless AirCard 881 device supports quad-band EDGE connections, as well as tri-band HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity, providing a way for you to connect almost anywhere worldwide. Skype is currently collaborating with a UK wireless carrier to develop a new cellphone, truly making Skype accessible to virtually anyone, anywhere in the world. This top secret device has been code-named "white phone" and will be released later this month in Italy, Britain, Hong Kong, and Australia. Both companies could license the technology to other carriers or potentially sell them directly to consumers in the US. Can't wait to see what the final result looks like.
Now here's an image of the secretive Glofiish X600 smartphone that will succeed the X500. Apart from the design difference, you will find a different operating system at the heart of things with Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Other features include global roaming GSM, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 400MHz Samsung processor, a 2.8" 65k color touchscreen display, 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, a 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD memory card slot. No idea on how much it costs, but cheap shouldn't be the word here.
