The almighty FCC has just approved yet another music cellphone from Nokia, dubbed the RM-242. You can tell that audio is its strong suit from the play/pause buttons located between the answer/reject keys. The quad-band GSM RM-242 features a slider form factor and will probably run on Java. Features include a 3.2 megapixel camera that does video recording, 3G connectivity (WCDMA 850 and 2100 are both supported), a 2.5mm audio connector, USB interface, a microSD memory card slot, support for Nokia Xpress audio messaging, an integrated FM radio, Visual Radio, and a voice recorder. No idea on how much it costs, but chances are it ought to be released pretty soon.
