Motorola ROKR E8 sneak peek

Looks like the Motorola ROKR E8 is very real, featuring a backlit touch keyboard and the Omega Wheel that caters for easy music and menu navigation. In addition, you also get haptic controls complete with vibration feedback. Too bad all you can do now is drool over the ROKR E8 since this GSM/GPRS handset won't be available to the masses until Q1 2008 rolls around. Other features found on the ROKR E8 include a 2 megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot (up to 2GB), an integrated FM radio, a 262k color QVGA display, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This is definitely a far cry from the initial ROKR handset, but it would've been nice to see 3G functionality thrown in to enable subscribers to download music on-the fly, no?
