FCC approves Sony Ericsson K205a
The Sony Ericsson K205a has just been given the nod by the powers-that-be at the FCC, which means we would be seeing this entry level dual band GSM 850/1900 handset pretty soon. Don't expect any high end features that you find on Sony Ericsson's Walkman and Cybershot series - instead it comes with just SMS, MMS, IrDA, a digital camera of unknown megapixel count (I'd go out on a limb and say it won't surpass the 1.3 megapixel mark) and browsing capability. No carriers have announced plans to carry the K205a yet, but supported bands make it compatible with a few US networks.
