Palm Treo 750 gets Windows upgrade

Owners of the Palm Treo 750 can finally experience the goodness of Windows Mobile 6 Professional for free, although the downside to this good news is, it affects customers in Australia only - specifically those who subscribe to the "3" network. Those lucky folks will be able to get the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade sometime in the middle of this month, while other Australian carriers will have to sit it out until early next month. To rub salt into the wounds, Palm has not released any similar upgrade to international users. According to the leaked picture, the release firmware versionis CE OS 5.2.1239 (Build 17746.0.2.4).
