HTC could launch Nike next month
Word on the street is buzzing that HTC will launch the HTC Nike (also known as the P5500) sometime next month, utilizing a processor from Samsung as well as chipsets from Qualcomm. The HTC Nike will support the WCDMA standard and will run on Windows Mobile 6 Professional, featuring TouchFLO touchscreen technology and the introduction of an automatic sliding keyboard. Other specifications include 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM, a microSD memory card slot, a 2 megapixel camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. It would be nice if the HTC Nike came with built-in WiFi, but that has yet to be confirmed. The September launch is imminent, but it is unknown whether it will happen in Asia or Europe.
