RIM sneaks in BlackBerry Curve 8310
Story posted on: August 1, 2007. Filed in: blackberry.

The BlackBerry Curve 8300 has received an update in the form of the 8310, and this time the hardware within receives a minor yet significant addition - a live GPS receiver. This GPS receiver enables users to plot driving routes by downloading map data from a central server. Everything else remains the same, ranging from the microSD memory card slot, the 2 megapixel camera, and the multi-format audio and video jukebox software. Vodafone Germany will make the 8310 available for 100 Euros when you sign up with the Business and Home Combo 240 plan. Additional news concerning a release elsewhere is scant, so those living Stateside will have to be content with other solutions in the meantime.
