Phone that bends all around

The first fall is always the most painful, especially when it comes to electronic items such as cellphones. For those who are prone to dropping their devices, this concept phone probably fits the bill. It allows you to drop it, bend it, sit on it, and even throw it around without suffering from any detrimental effects. Features include a 2.75" display (433 x 266 resolution), and a soft polymer insert that protects the microchip module. The display might look like paper, but it uses the "electrowetting" process that affects the ink on the display whenever electric signals are sent through it. The display is real unlike the phone, developed by Robert Hayes and Johan Feenstra. Hopefully we can see a practical use of this sometime in the near future.
