Sprint unveils LG LX160 handset
Sprint has just made available its LG LX160 clamshell handset that offers a fair amount of features at a reasonable price of $170 without having the need to tie yourself down to a contract of sorts. Of course, if you want the LG LX160 for nothing, just sign up for a two-year contract and you're good to go. Features include Bluetooth connectivity, handsfree calling support, and the ability to hook up to your computer to act as a modem, although I doubt anyone would use that feature. Unfortunately, no camera is attached - a move that is rather unforgivable in this day and age. Great for a beginner's phone if you're getting one for your college-bound kid.

The reviewer noted this phone does not have a camera on it and said it was 'unforgivable'. This is far from the truth! Cameras on phones are notoriously bad, and some people like me, cannot have a phone with a camera at my workplace. In addition, like color screens (another bad move), cameras suck battery power down really fast. Kudos to LG for being smart... Remember, this is a PHONE not anything more - and it shouldn't be.
