Haier HG-V68 handset unveiled

Looks like Haier is on a warpath to increase its market share in China by introducing the HG-V68 clamshell handset at the SINOCES(China International Consumer Electronics Show) 2007 in Qingdao. Strange to note that this is called the HG-V68 3G TV phone, when it only supports the EDGE network. Other than that, the glaring lack of a camera in front for video calls gives the game away, although there has been a 3G phone from Nokia with just one camera too. 5 little icons lined up at the bottom of the screen makes shows us that the HG-V68 comes with a touchscreen for easier navigation. Other than that, this looks pretty ordinary in terms of design as with those entry-level Nokias.
