FCC gives nod to Vertu Ascent Ti
The Vertu Ascent Ti handset has just received the seal of approval by the FCC, bringing you features such as a 3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, video capture capability, Bluetooth connectivity, MP3 and MIDI support, along with a host of useful applications such as a to-do list, a calendar, a stopwatch, a currency converter, and even real-time flight information. A joystick located on the front is used primarily for navigation purposes, and hopefully it will be able to last the pace unlike most Sony Ericsson handsets. The Verti Ascent Ti handset is quad-band GSM and is compatible with 3G/UMTS networks as well. This will probably cost a bomb, so if you want one, you'd better start saving up today.

I am in Cape Town, South Africa and would really like to get my hands on this one, providing I will be able to pare it up with my bluetooth unit in my Merc.
