Nani from Sophia Mobile

When the iPhone is released in Japan, it will surely find competition in the form of Sophia Mobile's Nani. While the Nani looks more like a portable media player than anything else, it manages to pack in a huge 4.3" touchscreen display at 800 x 400 resolution, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, a digital camera, and a TV tuner. Of course, you can also use the Nani to surf the Web whenever you're in the vicinity of an Internet hotspot thanks to its built-in WiFi connectivity. There is no word on pricing or availability, but it looks set to sell truckloads in Japan as well as abroad, assuming it is a worldwide compatible handset.
