BlackBerry 8820 officially gets WiFi
Story posted on: July 18, 2007. Filed in: blackberry.

BlackBerry's upcoming 8820 has confirmed initial rumors where the handset will get WiFi connectivity. This quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE smartphone will also be the slimmest handset from RIM to date, boasting a full and highly tactile QWERTY keyboard, a generous 320 x 240 display for easier navigation, a trackball navigation system, built-in GPS to prevent you from getting lost, a microSDHC memory card slot that works with microSDHC cards up to 32GB in size and is backwards compatible, and 802.11a/b/g connectivity. Those in the US will be able to pick up the 8820 this summer from AT&T while folks elsewhere can check out this smartphone from selected wireless carriers. Pricing details have yet to be determined as at press time.
