Asus smartphone rumor surfaces

Don’t you just love rumors? They often bring you to the realm of fantasy with the tantalizing carrot that it could actually be reality, just like this new A-series Asus smartphone. Word has it that a Marvel 520MHz PXA27x processor runs the show, aided by 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM. Windows Mobile 6 Professional will be the operaing system of choice, and other features include a SiRFStar III GPS chipset, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in FM radio, and a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, all packed into a GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA. Now this pretty much sounds like it has you covered across all fronts, just keep your fingers crossed that this smartphone will one day materialize off production lines.
