Don't you just hate it when beauties like this are unveiled, only to realize that it is nothing more than a concept? The Sagem Totch Phone was designed by Erik Arlen, and while it might not be a cellphone, its cordless nature makes me want to continue maintaining my landline. There is an aesthetically pleasing dock that hangs the Totch via two vertical arms, or you can just leave the dock lying flat for a more traditional approach. The display still looks monochrome though, and I have to wonder why is there a signal strength bar in there since this is supposed to be a landline.

Haier has unveiled the HT-T100 cellphone at the recent SINOCES(China International Consumer Electronics Show) 2007 event, and this makes it yet another TD-SCDMA/GSM cellphone in the China market. It looks pretty much like a barebones handset, with a basic camera behind. The design is rather archaic by now, and the keypad layout reminds me of one of those entry-level Nokias with separated sections for every two lines of keys. There is a joystick in the middle for navigation purposes, hopefully it'll be able to withstand the rigors of everyday use without breaking too easily. No word on pricing or availability though, but it won't be making its way Stateside anytime soon.

Looks like Haier is on a warpath to increase its market share in China by introducing the HG-V68 clamshell handset at the SINOCES(China International Consumer Electronics Show) 2007 in Qingdao. Strange to note that this is called the HG-V68 3G TV phone, when it only supports the EDGE network. Other than that, the glaring lack of a camera in front for video calls gives the game away, although there has been a 3G phone from Nokia with just one camera too. 5 little icons lined up at the bottom of the screen makes shows us that the HG-V68 comes with a touchscreen for easier navigation. Other than that, this looks pretty ordinary in terms of design as with those entry-level Nokias.

Remember the Brando V10 cellphone which we covered in the beginning of June? Well, I had the privilege of holding one in my hands, and here's my 2 cents on it. Let's start off with the size - it might measure 118mm x 60mm x 17mm which is pretty hefty by any standard, but surprisingly it weighs a mere 120 grams and won't be too much of a burden on your pocket. The V10 TV Phone comes with fairly ordinary specifications, and as the name implies, there is a TV function built into it for those living in countries without any form of DMB. Check out the rest of the review after the jump.

Koreans will now benefit from the latest Samsung handset - the SCH-B710. This multimedia intensive cellphone boasts 35 channels of S-DMB as well as 18 channels of T-DMB. The 3D video display boasts a swinging 2.2" LCD display as well as Picture-in-Picture function to watch a couple of channels simultaneously. Too bad the camera isn't up to par with the rest of the handsets these days, with just 1.3 megapixels on offer. Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, VOD, and a memory card slot for expansion purposes. You can choose from magic silver and white colors, with the SCH-B710 retailing for $655 a pop.

Now isn't this a phone that was specifically designed to cater for women? The GPlus GP800 comes with a mirror-like screen that lets you check whether your mascara has run or not. This mirror-like surface will light up whenever there is an incoming call, or when the user touches any of the buttons. Features are pretty much standard, with a 3.2 megapixel camera in tow along with a built-in FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, and a 2.2" QVGA display. Now the GPlus GP800 is truly a bona fide fingerprint magnet if I ever saw one. You won't find it released out of Asia though, as it targets the Asian market only.
