iPhone gets HTC Touch as challenger

The HTC Elf is now known as the HTC Touch, and this new smartphone looks set to challenge the iPhone on all fronts as it also comes with a 100% touch-based navigation on the 2.8" touchscreen display, save for the fact that it is powered by Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional. The HTC Touch comes with the entire Office Mobile suite, complete with a microSD memory card slot, a 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, and EDGE connectivity. There is no word on pricing, although the European and Asian versions will be made available by the end of June while those living in America will see the Touch before the year is over.
