Ancient scroll inspiration for concept

Fancy a cellphone that rolls up as a scroll when not in use? Designer Yun Liang thought of that when he envisioned the Scroll cellphone, being inspired from traditional Chinese paintings that need to be unfurled beforehand. Numeric key functions remain intact when the screen is kept safely within, enabling you to use the phone without the touchscreen. Of course, if you need to access media and data, the screen will need to be unfurled first. With the advancement in technology concerning flexible displays, the Scroll cellphone surely isn't too far away in the future, but I have my doubts on its practicality.
