Yet another toughie cellphone

Is it me or are cellphone manufacturers gaining an awareness that their handsets are just way to flimsy to withstand a few knocks? The Sonim XP1 is a rugged cellphone that is capable of operating in extreme temperatures ranging from -40° C to +85° C (!), while featuring shock protection from falls up to 1.65m high. In addition the Sonim XP1 boasts EC lP52 rating for protection against water, dust, salt, fog, and humidity. As for me, I'm looking forward to the day when beautiful cellphones are as hardy as the Sonim XP1. Unfortunately, that looks to be a long time in coming at the moment.
