Phone acts as mosquito repellent

Having a barbeque in your backyard? Instead of feeding yourselves to the mosquitoes hanging around, why not use your cellphone as a mosquito repellent? Koreans will be able to benefit from this service as a bunch of new handsets will emit an audio frequency that drives female mosquitoes away (females are the only ones who do all the biting during the mating season). Pretty smart move, but is it truly effective? Imagine spending 3 hours outdoors – how will that affect the battery life of the handset? Well, I guess it makes sense to wait and see what the actual handset looks like when released.
