What the heck?!? The iPhone is not even released yet, and there are already rumors floating around claiming that Apple has already completed designing the iPhone 2. Apparently, this smartphone will boast a significantly different shape, featuring an outward design that targets different markets. Chinese newspapers have pointed out that Apple has already started auditioning manufacturers to deliver the iPhone 2 in September at the earliest. Perhaps this could be the, dare I say it - iPhone nano? Only time will tell, but to release a couple of designs of the same device within such a short span of time doesn't exactly speak well of a company as that equals to giving early adopters the shaft.
Just a thought, but maybe Apple wants to produce an iPhone2 quickly to launch on other carriers besides AT&T. This creation could in fact allow them to do just that.
