KDDI unleashes horde of cellphones

KDDI of Japan certainly knows how to make a party when it comes to launching cellphones. They have recently announced a slew of 11 handsets, including Sony Ericsson's W53s/W52s and Casio's W53CA/W52CA. None of these come in the candybar form factor, with only the W54T and W52S being slider handsets while the rest stick to the tried and tested clamshell format. Japan and Korea always seem to get the best handsets, leaving the rest of the world green with envy. Sigh.
