The FCC board has recently stamped their approval of the Apple iPhone which is set to be released in late June. Certain documents have shown that the iPhone will come with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, while operating on both 850MHz and 1900MHz frequency bands. It will utilizes GSM technology and the EDGE wireless data standard, which means you get a pretty frustrating download speed while on-the-go. Looks like Europe will have to wait for a localized version since the operators there use different frequencies.
