Customize a phone with WillCOM
Story posted on: April 13, 2007. Filed in: others.

WillCOM has recently unveiled the WP004 cellphone that offers an unprecedented degree of freedom for users, where the base model comes with just a WillCOM W-SIM wireless module. The user has the option to add in a camera module if he/she wants to take photos on the go or an extended battery module for longer talktimes. In addition, other modules include GPS, USB, a fingerprint sensor, and a numeric keypad. Could this mean cellphones of the future are headed towards a more customizable direction? Only time will tell, but this is a good start.
