Concept cellphone doubles up as torch

WillCOM of Japan has recently paraded its emergency cellphone that works as a torchlight, thanks to the two D-sized batteries powering it. This concept torchlight cellphone device is capable of accepting a W-SIM card that gives it the ability to communicate wirelessly in the event of an emergency. There is no word on whether cellphone manufacturers are willing to take up this concept and bring it into realization, as such a device will definitely come in handy in countries that contain many earthquake hot spots.
