Pantech took advantage of the CTIA event to unveil the 3G-enabled clamshell C710 device. This black colored cellphone comes with a mid-range feature set and supports UMTS data on both 850MHz and 1900MHz bands but it works only with North American-specific GSM frequency, limiting its use outside the region. Features include a 176 x 220 pixel resolution TFT LCD internal display, while the smaller 96 x 96 pixel display is placed outside. The C710 also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, dual speakers, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot. Pricing details are currently unknown, but the Pantech C710 is set to be released this summer.
