Cellular Book on demo
The Cellular Book is a pretty amazing device by all accounts. This compact device comes with an E-Ink display that is not only proficient at reading e-books and maps, but it also doubles up as a cellphone as well. The implementation of E-Ink also translates to superior battery life, requiring just a recharge within a fortnight at a usage level of two hours a day. Features include 4GB of internal memory, a fold-up design when not in use, an integrated GSM radio, USB connectivity, and email synchronization. Pricing and availability details are still unknown. Let us see a show of hands - how many of you folks prefer to read books in the good old-fashioned paper format, or in the new electronic format? I personally prefer to thumb through my encyclopedias, thank you very much.
