NTT DoCoMo unveils entry-level phone
Story posted on: March 6, 2007. Filed in: others.

It is pretty rare to see an entry level handset make a debut in Japan, but NTT DoCoMo has reversed the trend if but for a moment with the F883i basic cellphone. This handset is primarily used for making and receiving both calls and text messages without any other multimedia intensive functions to keep you entertained. Features include a 2.4" 262k color internal display (240 x 320 resolution) and a 1.2" external STN display. It comes with an automatic voice and ringtone volume adjuster that compensates itself according to the surrounding noise. Choose from black, white, gold, and pink colors.
