New patent for remote and cellphone

Digging up some patent documents revealed that Sony Ericsson is trying to push a device that integrates the functions of both a remote control and a cellphone. While this is not a very original invention (remember those old Casio digital watches that came with a TV remote?), it would be interesting to see what Sony Ericsson can cobble up for the final product. Will we see some form of Walkman functionality inside as well? Hopefully the remote control will be a universal one like those found on older software for Palm-based devices.
