Longcheer unveils GPS phone
Story posted on: March 20, 2007. Filed in: others.

Longcheer of China (now that's an interesting name) has recently announced that they will be integrating the U-Blox AG GPS chipset in the upcoming G300 cellphone. Other than GPS connectivity, you will also get a WAP Internet browser, an MP3/MP4 player, and a VGA camera. Come on guys, a VGA camera in this day and age on a GPS-capable phone? Anyways, the Longcheer G300 measures 117mm x 50mm x 16.5mm and weighs 102g. There is no word on pricing, but we do know that the G300 will debut in China next month, followed by the rest of the world shortly after that.
