Upside down cellphone patent
Now how about that - an upside down cellphone?! Anthony Harrison has recently filed a patent for a cellphone that places the keyboard above the screen - a major paradigm shift for cellphones of today that come otherwise. He claims that this design provides an easier way to send text messages, as the orientation is capable of providing the user with a clear view of the screen while tapping his/her keybad with a thumb, with the rest of the hand being used to hold the handset. what do you think of this idea? Will it actually take off? I personally feel that you won't be too comfortable taking calls with the keys pressed against your face, leaving depression marks after each conversation.

This is not new - look at the Bang and Olufsen phone available now - this has a clamshell with the keys in a circle above and the screen below.
