Nokia N77 to be unveiled at 3GSM

Reuters has word that Nokia will be unleashing the N77 upon the masses at the 3GSM Conference in Spain next week. This mid-range DVB-H capable cellphone will probably retail somewhere in between $260 to $400, making mobile television accessible to majority of people worldwide (financially, at least). Of course, cheaper handsets is one method to encourage more people to adopt mobile TV, but that might not be enough on a worldwide scale as there are other aspects to think about, especially in developing countries. Hopefully Nokia's interest in getting the DVB-H standard up and running around the world along with a pledge to release a wider range of affordable handsets will be able to make this dream possible.
