Nokia retains classic format with 3110

Amidst all the fancy handsets that were revealed at the 3GSM World Congress in Spain, Nokia went against the grain to introduce the Nokia 3110 that comes in a classic candybar format that Nokia is famous for. Featuring a robust design, the tri-band 3110 offers an honest performance, a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 playback capability, an integrated FM radio, and expandable memory. Hidden improvements include a thicker plastic shell and a larger antenna for better reception in the concrete jungle. The 3110 looks set to be the next budget handset success that the 3310 was half a decade ago. The 3110 will be released in Q2 2007 at the recommended retail price of 150 Euros.
