Motorola has announced that the Q platform will be receiving a couple of new additions, namely the Moto Q q9 and Moto Q GSM. The Q q9 will be powered by the Windows Mobile 6.0 (Crossbow) platform, offering a richer messaging and multimedia experience for both demanding consumers and discerning professionals. Features include a microSD card slot, 256MB of internal memory, and an auto-adjustable smartscreen display for optimal viewing at all times. The Moto Q GSM is similar in every aspect of the original CDMA-based model, save for quad-band GPRS and EDGE connectivity, Crossbow, and a whole host of multimedia options. The Moto Q q9 and Q GSM will both be released in the second half of this year at a yet undisclosed price.
