Samsung launches SGH-F500 in Hong Kong

Samsung pulled yet another surprise by unveiling the SGH-F500 handset which also goes by the moniker Ultra Video. This is officially the first cellphone in the market that supports the widely-used DivX video codec. Features of this multimedia-packed handset include a generous 2.4" QVGA TFT display, a 2 megapixel camera, 400MB of internal memory, a microSD card, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo connectivity, MP3 playback, and a dual-faced design where a phone, a keypad, and a screen lies on one side while the other houses a huge display and multimedia controls. The swivel display works great to obtain the optimum viewing angle when you place the SGH-F500 on a flat surface. There is no word on pricing or availability of the Samsung SGH-F500 at this moment.
