Sonim XP1 laughs at adversity
Sonim has unveiled its new Sonim XP1 handset that targets those who are working in harsh environments and need a reliable communications device that won't shirk when it comes up against drops and nasty weather. The XP1 is more than capable of holding its own against severe elemental and environmental conditions, while being hardy enough to laugh at falls from 1.3m and less. In addition to being water-, dust-, and rain-resistant, the XP1 also offers Push-To-Talk compliance, making it the first ruggedized cellphone to do so. There is no word on the pricing of the Sonim XP1, but it will be available across all retail locations of Sweden's Dialect cellphone retailer.
