Prototype cellphones from KDDI

Ever wonder what's cooking in the design department at KDDI? Check out the two candybar cellphones above which are currently in a prototype form. These rounded Infobar2 cellphones come with large, square buttons in a neat grid format that are easy on the eye. You probably won't punch in the wrong numbers with these prototypes. There is something about the color scheme that just makes you want to possess one. You can always cross your fingers and hope that the Japanese will bring these prototypes to the production line, but we think the chances of that happening is higher than selling life insurance to a kamikaze pilot.
