Pantech to release U-4000 in France

The French will be getting their escargot-laden hands on the Pantech U-4000 cellphone from Pantech very soon, with the rest of Europe to follow suit in time to come. The U-4000 is no ordinary cellphone as it sports 3G connectivity, featuring a couple of cameras where one is used for video calls while the other, a more advanced 1.3 megapixel camera, works great for candid shots. You can expect the gamut of multimedia features such as MP3 and video player playback, 512MB of integrated memory, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB 2.0 port for data transfer. There is no word on pricing details of this slider handset as at press time.
