1GB SIM card by Samsung

Most cellphones and mobile devices these days come with a memory card slot for you to bump the internal memory, but Samsung decided to offer more than expected to mobile users worldwide by introducing the 1GB S-SIM card. This development integrates a System-in-Package (SiP) technology that enables a conventional SIM card to house high gigabit-density NAND flash memory. Users can now have more memory than before as the 1GB S-SIM card can be used for data intensive files such as video and audio clips. The new S-SIM is widely tipped by Samsung to fuel the growth of next-gen mobile network services. There is no word on the price or availability of the S-SIM at the moment.
