The Boy Genius has received word that Pantech will soon be launching a brand new Windows Mobile smartphone device before the year is over. This is good news as having more choice and competition in the market will do nothing but lower costs for the consumer without compromising on features. The new Pantech smartphone is rumored to come in the size of a business card, have a three-way slide-out functionality (let's see - music, video, and camera?), and various control features. One can only wonder how much battery life this device will have, should the rumored size be correct. You probably need to make the PowerMonkey a compulsory purchase. A quick search using the Google over the Internets failed to yield any photos.
